Sound Design/Music Composer

Since 2023 I’ve been a part of a 2 person audio team under the umbrella of Take 2 Interactive at Cat Daddy Games. Our two cornerstone games are WWE SuperCard (10+ Million downloads – 4.4 star rating) and NBA 2K Mobile (10+ Million downloads – 4.7 star rating). We also went to market with NFL 2K Playmakers and after approximately 12 months, the studio decided to sunset the title.

For these games I touched every aspect from ideation to implementation in game. Once on-boarded, I’ve built approximately 90+% of all the sound effect, music and voice overs for all 3 games from scratch. Another aspect of my job is implementing those sounds and music into the games via Wwise/Fmod with our in-house proprietary game engine.

I also work across departments to get projects completed before their deadlines. Mainly using project management software such as Jira and Slack along with a toolkit of others to help keep everyone and every project organized and on track. Over the years I’ve also worked with outside talent for specific game needs. Such as unique voice over actors.

When it comes to audio production software, I’m comfortable with pretty much any one on the market out of the box. I mainly use Cubase Pro daily in my studio with a large library of plugins to suite whatever is needed.

I currently have a 300 sq. ft. dedicated home studio for all of my sound design and music creation needs.

Music Producer/Songwriter

Over the past 20 years I’ve had my hands in the music industry in some way. From creating broadcast news music packages for 70 size markets, writing for award nominated documentaries, garnering over 25 millions streams on personal music projects, winning various songwriting awards, touring the West Coast and Pacific Northwest or working under the Take 2 Interactive umbrella at Cat Daddy Games.

In 2018 I decided to take my solo music career more serious and since then I’ve received over 25 million streams worldwide. At the time I’d been writing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering my own music for the previous 2 decades (starting in high school). My music has been featured and used on television series around the globe, with the majority being in the European market.

I’ve also been lucky enough to be a part of some really cool documentaries and short (horror films) over the past few years. Some of them having festivals runs over a year long. The short documentary “Adrenaline Sucks” was remarked for it’s excellence in music and was nominated for original score at festivals it took part in. Below are some examples of these works.

Music Samples – Below are a few tracks from my active music projects. They are my solo project which includes my song Morning that has approximately 10 million streams worldwide (instrumental, chill, laid back), my post-rock band (instrumental, cinematic) and my female fronted hard rock band (think Foo Fighters with some older Paramore)

Adrenaline Sucks – I wrote, performed, engineered, mixed and mastered all of the original music for this film to be shown at the Banff Film Festival. I was a relatively late add to the project and was given a rough cut to start my first pass of writing about 6 weeks before deadline. I then had about 2 weeks with the final cut for finalizing songs, mixing and mastering. *Please note, I did not mix sound on the video below – I can share high-res song files upon request*

DC StarGirl – This is a piece I did for Spitfire Audio a few years ago. The selected scene was from DC StarGirl. I had about 6 hours to write, perform, engineer, mix and master the tracks.

Original Music Video (Elephant Gun Riot) – This is a music video from my band we shot in 2017. I wrote the music, vocal melody and approximately 50% of the lyrics as well.

Wedding Scores – As a gift to a lot of my friends, I’ll film and edit their wedding video along with writing an original piece of music for them. Below is an example of one of the videos.

Content Creation – A major part of my previous jobs have been to create content for distribution. All of which were for broadcast television, B2C and B2B. For the 3 videos below I was the producer, shooter, editor and director. The only piece of video gear I had to use on these shoots was a Sony a6500.

Personal & Music Content – With the lack of opportunities to perform live music during Covid, I needed an other creative outlet, so I started a YouTube Channel talking about gear and music. I’ve since become a YouTube Partner in that time and have a handful of great partnerships with some fantastic brands. Below is a Short and a full length video from my personal YouTube channel.

Photography – Below are some pieces of work I shot at Spiceololgy. One of the main components of my job was to do lifestyle and product shots for digital distribution. During my time at Spiceology I shot and edited thousands of photo assets that have been used on all our marketing material and featured on sites such as Forbes, CNN, BuzzFeed, Bon Appetit and many others. Most any non UGC photography seen from Spiceology from late 2018 though late 2022 was probably my work.

Live Television Director / Content Specialist

KXLY-TV – From age 18 to 31, I worked as a live television director at KXLY-TV in Spokane, WA. I spent stints on the AM Morning Show, the 11pm News, but most of my time was spend on the 5pm newscast. A large part of my time was spent as the Production Manager of a crew 20+ over the 13 years. In my free time I also shot special projects to create new digital revenue streams for the station. Below is an example of a newscast I directed and a special projects video I shot, edited, produced and directed.
